It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Cobb of Macclesfield, North Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Cobb to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Jefferson and Joseph T. Jefferson; her brothers, Danny Jefferson and J. Franklin Jefferson; her husband John Edmond Cobb (Bud); and her grandson Randall Harris.

She is survived by: her children, Belinda (Van Gurkins), Delores (Randy Harris), Johnnie (Debbie Cobb), Jeff (Ann Cobb) and Mickey (Teresa Cobb); her grandchildren, Scott Webb, Casey Webb, Kristie Andrews, Kelly Byrd, Renee Brown, Lori Hill, Jonathan Cobb, Travis Baker, Mathew Cobb, Joshua Cobb and Christy Gurkins; her siblings, Douglas Jefferson (Joyce) of Tarboro and Dianne Wallace (Douglas) of Macclesfield; and her close friend Brenda Roberson. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
