She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond T. Lewis; and her siblings, Sam Owens, Priscilla Bryant and Diane Oakey. She is survived by: her children, Richard, Robert B. Jones, Jr. (Delance) of Elm City, Jenny Jones Gilbert (Lewis) of Nashville and Lorie Lewis Ellis (Alex) of Wilson; her sisters, Melvina "Bug" Gallinato (Jerry) of Williamston and Vickie Roberson (Joe) of Williamston; her grandchildren, Gaston King of Elm City, Thomas Ellis (Megan) of Raleigh, Jenna King (Jerod) of Wilson, Alexis Ellis Witherington (Reese) of Jacksonville, FL and Za'Nya Evans; and her great grandchildren, Wayland and Grady. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Maccripine Free Will Baptist Church.
