He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Avant Crook and Minnie Gee Crook. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Lowry; his children, Berry Crook (Kristen) of Leawood, Kansas, Stephen Crook (Marcie) of Swansboro, NC and Kate Lowry-Crook of Raleigh; and his grandson William "Will" Crook.
