We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2022, at the age of 92, Lawrence Gray Newman of Lynn, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Christopher and Maude Constance Newman; his son Jason Newman; his grandson Daniel Foster; his great grandchild Toby Jesperson; and his son-in-law David Satterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Lorie Newman; and his children, John Newman (Joyce), James Newman (Deborah), Herschel Newman (Susan), Jane Foster (Joe), Jenelle Satterfield and Brenda Covil (Mark). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many precious nieces and nephews.
