We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2020, at the age of 85, James Dalton Beckom Sr. (Lynn, North Carolina), born in Hickory, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette West Beckom, Sr. and Lucille Boland Beckom; his siblings, Everette Beckom, Jr., Mitzie Beckom Abernathy, Harold Beckom and Joe Beckom; and his daughter Leslie Rowe Millsaps.

He is survived by: his children, Malinda Rowe Coleman, James Beckom, Jr., Debra Beckom McMillian and Mary Beckom Roberts. He is also survived by grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
