He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley and Annie Mae Lindsey McCurry; his wife Shirley Darnell McCurry; his sisters, Bertha McMillian, Luella McCurry, Cora McCurry, Ruby Alewine and Barbara GIllie; and his grandson McKinley William McCurry.
He is survived by: his children, Terri McCurry Raburn (Garland) of Columbus, NC, Traci McCurry Gregory (Paul) of Tryon, NC and Timothy William McCurry of Lynn, NC; and his siblings, Charles McCurry (Lib) of Mills River, NC and Joyce Arledge (Hub) of Tryon, NC. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
