He is survived by: his wife Paula Gail Bruce Baxley; his sons, Alan Baxley (Annette) and David Baxley (Lisa); his grandchildren, Vance Baxley, Leeann Baxley Martin (David), Lindi Baxley and Kelly "Ren" Baxley; his sister Mary Lou Allen; and also, Elizabeth Jacobs, Melissa "Cookie" Clark and Loretta Dunn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Cemetery (400 W 24th St, Lumberton, NC 28358).
