She was predeceased by: her parents, David Alexander Russell and Bessie Bertha Pruitt; her husbands, Wilbert Everette and C. A. Grooms; her daughters, Barbara Diane Musselwhite and Vivian Sue Walters; and her sibling Brigette Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Kaye Smith, Brenda Diane Musselwhite, Wilbert Leslie Everette, Carol Everette Hilbert and Daryel Wayne Everette.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM and at 11:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the New Hollywood Cemetery (501 Hollywood Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358).
