With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomasina Cecelia Johnson of Lumberton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Hill and Leamon Jones (Bill); her siblings, Jerrie Caulder, Ruby Jerald, Will Avery Jones and Cynthia Johnson; and her nephew William Taylor (Peanut).
She is survived by: her children, Clifton Johnson (Roslyn), Aubrey Johnson (Inky), Fredrick Johnson (Derrica), Anissa Johnson-Mitchell (Christopher) and Janet L. Johnson; her grandchild Jaden Johnson; her nephew Joseph Smith; and her niece Danna Brown (Bobbie). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hills Chapel (302 N Main St, Fairmont, NC 28340). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sandy Grove Baptist Church (1601 M. L. K. Jr Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (2341 Fire Tower Rd, Orrum, NC 28369).
