With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore Edgar Maness Jr. of Lumberton, North Carolina, born in Pembroke, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Edgar Maness and Sadie Esther Lancaster Maness; his wife Sue Stubbs Maness; his brother Billy Lancaster Maness; and his grandson Duncan Rite Clark.
He is survived by: his children, Ted Maness, III (Katie) of Columbia, Nick Maness (Mary) of Rockingham, Richard Maness of Rotonda West and Jeanne Clark (Danny) of Florence; his grandchildren, Tyler Clark (Jessi) of Florence, Elizabeth Maness of Miami and Teddy Maness of Bolder; his great grandchildren, Mason Clark of Florence, Levi Clark of Florence, Lily Clark of Florence and Liam Clark of Florence; his niece Betsy Kinlaw of Lumberton; and his nephew Bill Maness of Fayetteville.
