It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Texxie Lee Godwin Stephens of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Quin Godwin and Carrie Godwin; and her husband Henry Robert Stephens. She is survived by: her children, Buddy Stephens (Deanna), Tommy Stephens (Larissa), Carrie Dawson of Lumberton, Marcie Burns of Lumberton and Anna Rasmussen of Lumberton; her sister Betty Sue Buchanan (Wiley) of Griffin, GA.; her grandchildren, Ashley, Jonathan, Lee, Heather, Jennifer, Bailey, Emory, Alexis and Harley; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Evan, Carleigh, Andrew, Kenlee, Kendall, Scarlett, Harless, Leonni, Neal and Averlee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
