She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Barton; her grandson Ricky Brandon Barton; and her daughter Blanch Lambert. She is survived by: her children, Helen Lawson (L. H.), Ricky Barton (Cherry) and Michael Barton (Norma).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church (8003 NC-211, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the Robeson Memorial Park (116 McKinnon Rollin Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
