She is survived by: her children, Wendy Carter Rice (Jason), Heather Carter Jernigan (Philliph), William "Little Bill" Carter III and Matthew Carter; her stepdaughter Katie E. Carter; her granddaughter Anna Rice; her stepgrandson Carter Sutton; and her sister Sue Rozier West.
