We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 95, Melba Ann Collins McCorkle of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Meares Collins and Haynes Arthur Collins; her husband John Wesley McCorkle, Jr.; and her siblings, Helen Collins Patterson, Edward Haynes Collins and Joe Pierce Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jan McCorkle Gane (Lacey Earl Gane II) and Jill McCorkle (Tom Rankin); her grandchildren, Josh Gane (Evelia), Annie Gane Floor (Erik), Claudia Shapiro and Rob Shapiro (Ashlee); and her great grandchildren, Lacey, Kate, Mia Floor and Ariana Gane.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Lumberton (606 N Walnut St, Lumberton, NC 28358).
