We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 91, Madelyn Elizabeth House of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Register and Callie Register; her husband Rev. Thomas H. House; and her siblings, Horace Register, Mitchell Register and Doris Butler.
She is survived by: her children, David Townsend (Donna) of Saint Pauls and Pat Inman (Carlton) of Lumberton; her siblings, Wayne Register of Saint Pauls and Melba Walters of Saint Pauls; and her grandsons, Aaron Inman, Josh Inman and Drew Townsend. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory Inc. (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Floyd Memorial Chapel (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358).
