It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Chavis of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bunyan and Revie Locklear; her husband Lacy Levernon Chavis; her siblings, Frankie, Jackie, Quinee Locklear and Elsie Faye Locklear; and her sons, Mickey and Paul Chavis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Ree Revels and Levernon (Timothy Chavis); and her siblings, Glenn, Clyde, Ronald, Johnny and Mary Helen Locklear. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
