She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lennon and Mildred Thompson Lennon; and her husband Cleaster Durant. She is survived by: her children, Linwood Durant (Gale) of Lumberton, NC, Sheila D. Porchèr (Lynn) of Rocky Mount, NC and Kisha Durant Wilson of Houston, TX; her siblings, Brenda McQueen (Dexter) of Fairmont, NC, Glenda Davis of Chicago, IL, Howard Lennon of Fairmont, NC and Willis Lennon of Atlanta, GA; her sister-in-law Marzella D. Worley (Harold) of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, Jamel Hunt, TaQuanda Mitchell, Lynn Porchèr Jr., Tierra Durant, Quentin Porchèr and Richard Wilson II; her great grandchildren, Jamiah, Matthew, Charles, Jamel Jr., Peyton and Landon; and her caregiver Ada Harvey of Rocky Mount, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mill Branch Baptist Church (10310 NC-130, Fairmont, NC 28340). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
