He was predeceased by: his parents, Rembert Scott and Hannah Herring Scott; his wife Mary Frances Rogers Scott; and his siblings, Carl Scott, Gladys Ivey and Charles Scott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beth Pepper of Atlanta, GA, Jane Stone (Michael) of Cumming, GA and Sarah Barber (Adam); and his great grandchild Jordan Barber.
