He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlene Cox Britt and John Henry Britt; his daughter Tonya Britt Howell; and his sister Fran Muckenfuss. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Britt; his daughter Libby Britt Davis (Rodney) of Lumberton; his siblings, John "Dickie" Britt (Gloria) of Lumberton, Rose Butler (Dearl) of Chadbourn, Sandy Willoughby (Robert), Donna Willoughby (Alton) of Lumberton and Teresa Britt of Bladenboro; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Wilson (Tommy) of Chadbourn, Twalla Sellers (Eric) of Fayetteville and Sheila Nobles of Boardman; and his grandchildren, C. J. Howell of Lumberton, Adam Howell of Lumberton, Laykin Hendren of Lumberton, Jackson Davis of Lumberton and Reid Davis of Lumberton. He is also survived by his extended family, loving nieces and nephews.
