It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Ray Jones Jr. (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Exand Locklear Holt and Benny Locklear (Loya); his great-grandparents, Gethro and Ella Star Locklear; his grandparents, Lewis and Rose Anne Jones; and his brother Jeremiah Locklear.
He is survived by: his children, Jordan Jackson, Kensley, Myriella and Emberly Jones; the mother of his children Amber Boyd; his parents, Catherine Cox of Raeford and Kenneth Ray Jones Sr. of Lumberton; his godmother Amy Locklear Henderson; his siblings, Dakota Locklear, Larry Jones (Krista), Kevin Jones, Madison Jones, Kayana Woods and Rose Mary Jones; and his aunt Carol Jones.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (407 Breece St, Pembroke, NC 28372). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Oxendine Cemetery Chapel Community Oak Grove Church.
