She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wallace Scoggins and Brenda Herring Scoggins; and her sister Arleen Dee Sarvis. She is survived by: her partner Robbie Shan Allen of Lumberton, NC; her children, Billy Allen Grooms (Brooke) of Lumberton, Melissa Ann Grooms of Lumberton, Johnny Edward Grooms (Kimberly) of Fairmont and Joseph Elijah Grooms (Audrey) of Lumberton; her brother James Edward Scoggins of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Zeke, MaKenzie, Paxton, Mila, Declan, Kelsey (Will), T. J. (Sammie), Marissa, Kyleigh, Nicholas, Jayden, Jacksen, Colten, Yaz and Patrick; her great grandchildren, Presley, Preston and Owen; her nieces, Christa Dudding (Gary), Heather McDaniel and Andrea Abernethy; and her nephew Gunger Grimsley II.
