She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Britt and Marjorie Wallace Britt; her husband Eartle "Buddy" Dent; and her siblings, John Charles Britt, Freddie Britt, Jean Britt Haire, Susan Britt Huggins and Frieda Margaret Britt.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Dohogne (Pat) of Granite City, IL, Beverly Barker (Johnny) of Bessemer City, NC and Jo Ann Johnson (Roy) of Maxton, NC; and her sisters, Barbara Ann Fikis (Bill) and Donna Britt Carter (J. D. Buck) of Laurinburg, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews.
