He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey B. Banner and Asia Mabel Horne; and his spouse Jean Margaret McLean Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Joseph ShaQuan Banner, Iyana Ross, Meghan Bethea, Jemiah Ross Banner and Tiguan Banner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Colvin Funeral Home Chapel (1904 E Elizabethtown Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
