She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Locklear and Chestine Oxendine Locklear; her husband Billy R. Jones; her siblings, Terry Locklear, Janel Locklear, Jackie Locklear and Nitress Jacobs; and her close friend Blanch Lambert.
She is survived by: her daughter Janel Jones; and her siblings, Delois Locklear of St. Pauls and Kenneth Locklear. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church (8003 NC-211, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the same location.
