He was predeceased by: his mother Gertrude Hawkins Cassidy; his brother Cassidy, Jr. of Maryland; and his friends, Leander McCall, Jr. (Fleet) and Ronald Fletcher.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sandy Grove Baptist Church (1601 M. L. K. Jr Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
