It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Carson Bruce of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis E. Bruce, Sr. and Nora Lee Carter Bruce; his son Rona Frayne Bruce; his sisters, Martha Bruce Byrd and Betty Hester McCray; and his sister-in-law Joyce Simpson Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Smith Bruce; his daughter Taborsky (Will); his siblings, Marion Martian (Arthur), Lewis Bruce, Jr. and Billy Bruce (Joanne); his grandchildren, Paula Janell Britt (Dillon), Carson and Taborsky; and his daughter-in-law Karen Brown Bruce.
