He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Morgan and Sarah Jane Jones; his children, Alisa Locklear, Sherry Jones Thomas, Mark "Frederick" Locklear and Monte Locklear; and his grandson Austin Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Jones; and his daughters, Tammy Jones, Teresa Locklear, Fredia Jacobs and Sonya Jones Lowry (Ricky). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Cummings Family Cemetery.
