She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Dowless and Sally Moore Dowless; her siblings, Ada Dowless Rogers, Clarece Dowless Graham, Aletha Dowless Seals, Annie Neal Dowless Stricklin, Leo Dowless, Earl Dowless, Theodore Dowless and John Dowless; and her former husband Carl H. Lovette, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Andrews (Davis "Duck") of Lumberton, Samantha Lovette (Steve Hobbs) of Lumberton and Carl H. Lovette (Donna) of Fairmont; and her grandchildren, Ben Andrews (Kristie), Carlabeth Andrews (Eddie Scott), Sandy Marie Bryan, Katy Ann Patterson, Abby Lynn Patterson and Clairey Lovette. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Homebound Ministry of East Lumberton Baptist Church, 201 Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC 28358.
