She was predeceased by: her parents, Vonnie Oxendine and Sadie Oxendine; and her husband Gaston Hoover Jones. She is survived by: her children, Alexis Jones (Rafael), Michael Jones (Tonja) and Marie Jones; her sister Mary Lowery; and her friend Lorreta Locklear (Derek). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
