She was predeceased by: her brother Eric Oxendine. She is survived by: her son Solomon Smith; her husband Jeffrey Kahn; her parents, Linda O. Carter and Fred Oxendine (Lisa Oxendine); and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Revels Funeral Home (3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
