She was predeceased by: her parent Marion Bowen; and her sister Carol Denise Bowen. She is survived by: her mother Edna Beaney of Hope Mills, NC; her husband Lloyd Brewer; her children, Debra Brown (Lewis Brown) of Hope Mills, NC and Jeffery Brewer (Heather Brewer) of Louisburg, NC; her brother Dennis Bowen (Veronica Bowen) of Raeford, NC; her grandchildren, Dustin Powell Landon Brewer (Shandi Powell), Thomas Brown, Logan Brewer and Clara "Grace" Brewer; and her great grandchild Jaxon Powell. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
