She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chavis and Maggie Lee Jackson Chavis; her husband Felton Pevia; her great grandchild Faith Pevia; and her siblings, Rev. Leeromie Bud Chavis, Henry Chavis Jr., Albert Chavis, Ernest Chavis, Mary Callahan, Annie C. Emanuel, Harlie Chavis and Ronald Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Delton Pevia of Fayetteville, Sharon Brooks and Darlene Pevia of Shannon; her siblings, Carlie Chavis of Shannon, Thurman Chavis of Shannon, Shelby Jane Locklear, Lilly Mae Oxendine, Lora Ann McMillian, Janie Ruth Scott, Frances Locklear and Sharon Locklear; her grandchildren, Erica Yvonne Pevia, Brock Andrew Blanks and Chelsie Danielle Pevia; and her great grandchild Xander. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
