She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Smith and Daisy Smith Reid; her husband Jessie A. Grooms; her son Tony R. McKeehan; her granddaughter Katelyn McKeehan; and her siblings, Mary Sue S. Holler and Gary D. Smith.
She is survived by: her grandson John "Alex" Grooms (Victoria); her children, Wayne McKeehan, Anne M. Greelman, Tracy M. Painter (Nathan), Jessica G. Page (Eric) and Jana G. Smith (David); her grandchildren, Joesph Painter, Jasea Painter, Anthony McKeehan, Berkely Smith, William, Nicholas, Jeff McKeehan, Triston Greelman, Courtney Page, Andrea McKeehan, Lindsey McKeehan and Andrea Greelman; and her siblings, Ricky Smith and Patricia Figuero. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Health Hospice in Pinehurst, NC.
