He was predeceased by: his children, Wilma and Steven; his parents, Albert M. Holland and Cassie Lee Sullivan Holland; his sisters-in-law, Sybil B. Lucas, Lucille Holland and Ruby Holland; his brothers, Albert, Rupert, Willard and Wallace Holland; and his son-in-law Ray White.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Barnes Holland; his daughter Alice H. White of Wilson; his granddaughter Rachel W. Johnson (R. G. Johnson) of Wilson; his great grandchild Corben Riley Johnson; his stepgranddaughter Laura Carver (Stephen Carver) of Clemmons; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Kyndal Carver, Khloe Carver and Kennedy Carver; his siblings, Annie Lee Barnes of Fremont, Doris Godwin of Lucama, Betty Faye Raper of Kenly and Jimmy Holland (Judy Holland) of Wilson; and his sisters-in-law, May B. Pittman (Stearle Pittman) of Greenville and Barbara B. Ritter (Phil Ritter) of Madison, WI..
