She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edwards and Olla Frances Edwards; her husband Willie Thompson, Sr.; and her brother Paul Rastus Edwards. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Roberson; her son-in-law Chris Harrell of Wilson; her son Willie Thompson, Jr. of Lucama; and her siblings, Elizabeth Whitney of Florida and Billy Edwards of Wendell. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
