He is survived by: his son Robert Junior Farmer (Anna) of Raleigh, NC; his grandson Jon Rodriquez Farmer, III (Ishell) of Washington, DC; his sisters, Agnes Farmer of Wilson, NC, Fannie Murray of Wilson, NC and Emma Johnson of Englewood, NJ; and his brother-in-law Thomas Dawson (Rosalie) of Wilson, NC. He is also survived by children who loved him like a 'daddy'; a host of nieces and nephews.
