She was predeceased by: her mother Eula Bell Boykin; and her son Milton Ray Parrish. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Pete" Parrish, Sr.; her children, Robert Louis Parrish, Jr. (Lorie), Glenn Paul Parrish, Joyce Ann Lamm and Chandler P. Parrish; her sisters-in-law, Doris Thorne, Faye Pearman and Elizabeth Parrish; and her pet Angel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyners Funeral Home & Crematory (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896).
