He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Jackson and Ruth Dorsey Tew; and his grandparents, Drewsillus, Myrtle Aycock Dorsey, Alex Berry and Katie Young Tew.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Pearson Tew; his sons, Louis Berry Tew, Jr. (Little Buddy), Ronald Tew and Will Tew; his sisters, Ann Wells (Starky) and Brenda Bunn (Don); and his grandchildren, Brandon Tew, Dylan Moore, Liam Tew, Justin Tew, Brianna Tew and Pearson Tew.
