He was predeceased by: his grandson Joshua Denton; his parents, Alvin A. Proctor and Lossie Hawley Proctor; and his siblings, Earleen Ferrell, Josephine Jones, Lynda Crumpler, Rudolph Reece and Gene Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Barnes Proctor; his daughter Kimberly Denton of Wilson; his grandson Eli Denton of Wilson; and his brothers, Elton Proctor and Bobby Proctor of Wilson.
