It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Clifton Barfield of Lucama, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Stancil Barfield; his grandson Clay Price; his parents, Joseph Clifton and Lear Barfield; and his sister Peggy Fulghum.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Barfield (Christy) of Lucama and Rhonda B. Davis of Lucama; his grandchildren, Connor Barfield and Courtney Barfield; and his siblings, Wayne Barfield (Carol) of Lucama and Jean Gray of Lucama.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Watson's Grove FWB Church (8712 Watson, Watson Grove Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542). A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springhill Presbyterian Church (7335 Springfield School Rd, Lucama, NC 27851).
