He was predeceased by: his son Joseph "JoJo" Bridgers; his mother Kathleen Beamon Kearney; and his brothers, Wayne Jett and Ray Kearney. He is survived by: his wife Della Pridgen Jett; his daughters, Lisa Jett Pitt of Lucama, Melissa Jones Lynn (Stacy) of Rosewood, Kelly (Linwood) and Lily Sharpe of Lucama; his grandchildren, Caleb, Sarah Perkins of Lexington, NC and Thaison Pitt of Lucama; and his siblings, Patty Mercer of Wilson, Ernestine Hardee of Faro and Keith Jett (Jennifer) of Lucama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
