She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther Taylor and Callie Smith Taylor; and her sisters, Nona Boswell and Shirley Godwin. She is survived by: her husband Scott Barnes; her children, Katrina Barnes (Rodney Davis) of Wilson and Sean Barnes of Lucama; her grandchildren, Channing Barnes and Gabrielle Barnes; her siblings, Margie Turner, Doris Lucas of Lucama and Jimmy Taylor (Gale) of Lucama; and her pet Cabana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
