She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Barnes; her parents, Grainger Taylor and Mary Ann Tedder Taylor; her daughter Starr Knopp; and her brothers, Royster and Bobby Ray Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Harris (Mickey) of Winterville; her siblings, Margie Perkins of Kenly and Kirby Taylor (Sharon) of Rio Hondo, TX; and her close friend Toby. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
