He is survived by: his wife Jean Ferrell; and his children, Shyrell Maxwell (Wayne) of Wilson, Wendy Bunn of Selma, Tracey Ferrell of Ahoskie, Deborah Moore (Tim) of Kenly, Elizabeth Dawson (Tony) of Lucama, Al Mitchell (Tracy) of Lucama and Greg Stancil (Mary) of Fremont. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
