He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon Eason Wood. He is survived by: his wife Joyce "Sue" Gates Bartlett Eason; his daughters, Belinda Eason Speight (Todd) of Fuquay Varina and Cindy Eason Baker (Jerry) of Coats; and his stepdaughter Jeaneen Bartlett Lucas (James) of Wilson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
