He is survived by: his wife Jackie Amerson; his children, Elton Ray Amerson (Jessica) of Sims and Kathy Lynn Sanders (Ronnie) of Bailey; his stepsiblings, Curley Tucker (Wanda), Ben Evans (Donna Jean), Paul Tucker, Jimmy Tucker, David Earl Tucker, L. G. Sasser and Barbara Sullivan (Buddy); and his grandchildren, Mark, Sarah Sanders, Tray and Olivia Amerson.
