It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra McRay Foreman-Rice of Lowland, North Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Jesse Arnold Foreman and Cleora Elizabeth Ireland; her son Jesse Carroll Banks; her sister Beverly F. Brousard; and her nephew Kevin Neal Foreman.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Rayvon Rice; her children, Marianne Banks-Rice (Hertford) of Hobucken and Len Banks of Lowland; her stepchildren, Keith Rice (Lisa) of Fayetteville and Jennifer R. Godley (Craig) of Washington; her sisters, Linda Marion Lupton (Gene) of Lowland and Patsy Elaine Irsik (Dean) of Elizabeth City; and her granddaughters, Melissa McRae Rice and Treasure Len Banks.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lowland Community Cemetery (3597 Lowland Rd, Hobucken, NC 28552).
