He is survived by: his close friend Pat Williams; his children, Thomas Phillips (Shella), Timothy Phillips (Sonya), Laura Marvin (Chuck), Neal Phillips (Shannon), John Phillips (Crissy), Larry Gearheart and Ann Walsh (Langdon); and his siblings, Mike Phillips (LeAnn) and Kathy Lozano (Gene).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blueridge Baptist Church- Fellowship Hall (3581 Pine Ridge Rd, Lowgap, NC 27024).
