He is survived by: his mother Joyce Grey Hardy; his wife Sonnie Cooke Hardy; his son Zane Gates Hardy; his brother Mitchell Hardy; his mother-in-law Sandra Stout; his stepmother-in-law Mary Emily Cooke; his siblings-in-law, Stacy and Richard Carroll; his nieces and nephews, Elin Hardy, Adilyn Hardy, Sophie Smith and Porter Smith; his cousin Mollie Norman Tompkins; and his grandmother Geraldine "Jinky" Montgomery. He is also survived by extended family and many special friends.
