It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Marshall of Lowgap, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Emma McCormick Carrico; her daughter Dolly Ann Marshall; her granddaughter Sherline Boyd; and her brother James Odell McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, Emma Jean Marshall Boyd of King and Emmett Junior Marshall; her granddaughter Carolyn Flynn of Pfafftown; her great grandchildren, Claire Sellers and Barry Junior Flynn; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Fred Marshall of Mount Airy.
Due to public health concerns, attendees are requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
